Breaks my heart! I just shake my head. Where is GreenPeace??? Aren’t they for saving the whales?

There is no more Greenpeace as we knew it. Same for just about every other environmental group. Offshore energy has a cult-like following.

Field biology no longer exists as a serious science. Those biologists not paid off by the wind industry have succumbed to a faulty excuse. They simply claim that climate change represents a greater threat to whatever species they are studying than the wind industry. As if wind turbines are capable of changing the climate.

That's exactly how it's phrased. Same with those who have been paid off. It's their ultimate conclusion.

Offshore wind needs to be halted right away. It pollutes the ocean, endangers species and destroys marine ecosystems (all unsustainable) to yield a so-called 'sustainable' energy source that is not even 40% reliable.

The impact on marine ecosystems is more extensive than just whales and also impacts clams, scallops, lobster and cod and thereby directly impacts our food supply chain. A good recent post on this topic was provided by Public News: https://www.public.news/p/wind-industry-is-killing-sea-life/comments.

And of course, in stead of investing in unreliable boondoggles, we should invest in energy dense on-shore energy generation.

Yep, wind turbines are terrible for the environment. It truly is not rocket science to understand how harmful these huge, huge things to all that live in the oceans. The destruction of the seafloor, disruptive sonar throwing whales and other mamals off is a danger to their survival. This movement is pulling the wool over our eyes because those blue states really believe we are in a crisis. Yes, there is climate change but building nuclear power plants is far better for the environment in every way.

This is the stuff of nightmares Has anyone studied the warming effect the turbines would have on shore? They would actually cause warming on our beaches and shoreline by catching the cooler air coming off the ocean therefore causing climate warming on shore Isn't that contrary to what Global Warming theorists are claiming must be stopped?

This whole enterprise is ridiculous at it's core and must not be allowed to continue Every study shows it to be harmful to every living thing within it's area of influence Save the whales Save the Ocean Save the way of life of the people who live along the shoreline and make a living fishing these very waters

Stop the Turbines

Sounds like our approach to Wind Turbines Technology is identical to our approach to Health in general:

Refuse to investigate the entire Biological chain potential effects in advance, and make the initial installation the first experimental investigation.

Exactly! There are many similarities.

Where are the Woods Hole Oceanographic, MBL, URI and the Boston aquarium scientists? This is their back yard. No doubt they have their heads in the sand. Step up and do the right thing.

And It's even worse. How about global extinction of everything and everyone: Death by Windmills. Seems these windmills' switch gear rooms are insulated with Sulfur Hexafluoride SF6, a man made gas which traps 25500 times more infrared radiation than Carbon Dioxide CO2 and which has a half-life of 3200 years. CO2 is necessary for life on Earth, part of the Carbon Cycle and makes up a whopping .06% of Earth's atmosphere. SF6 leaking and/or released into the atmosphere is the end game for the Right Whales et all. https://www.bos-cbscsr.dk/2021/05/01/case-of-sf6-in-offshore-wind-energy/
